How To Memorize Quran Through Online Quran Classes
The Prophet (PBUH) said, “The Best amongst you is (he)
who learns and teaches the Holy Quran.” (Sahih al-Bukhari). Quran memorization is a highly praiseworthy act in Islam. Quran memorizers
called “huffaz” are treated with the utmost respect. This is because the Quran is
the cornerstone of all Islamic knowledge.
Quran memorization is
one of Allah’s methods of preserving the Quran. Muslims have always learned the
Holy Book since the beginning of revelation. Now, there are millions of Quran
memorizers around the world. As the Muslim population continues to
increase, the number of memorizers also increases.
Online Quran class are one of the most widespread ways of learning the Quran. Online Quran
academies provide a lot of benefits for learners. They accommodate students
from all over the world, providing high-quality education. It’s a rapidly
growing industry, as online learning is something beneficial for both teachers
and learners.
How to study via online Quran classes
Online Quran academies
are institutions that offer distance-learning solutions. This method of
learning allows you to gain knowledge from the comfort of your home. You get to
choose the time that is convenient for you. Due to 24/7 functionality, there is
no shortage of timings to choose from.
Online Quran classes
are conducted on a one-on-one basis between teachers and students. Online
Quran academies usually have several available Quran tutors. Female
Quran teachers are also easy to find. You just choose your preferred
course, sign up, and start learning.
Benefits and drawbacks of taking online
Quran classes
Studying online has several advantages. Unlike
traditional learning methods, online learning doesn’t require teachers or
students to go anywhere. You can study at home. You get to choose the time that
suits you and save time by removing the need to travel.
As a consequence of the
reduced time investment, prices are generally reasonable too.
The nature of online one-on-one classes means that you
don’t have to study in groups. This is suitable for teachers, as they don’t
have to focus on a horde of students collectively. For students, it means
faster progress as the teacher can devote direct attention to the student.
The main drawback of online learning is that lesser
discipline is required.
You don’t have to go anywhere, and you can study while
sitting in a comfortable chair or bed. The serious and somber atmosphere that
you find at a learning institute is eliminated. You also don’t get the
blessings of going to the place, i.e., a mosque.
Why should you memorize the Quran online?
The Prophet (PBUH) said, “The one who
memorized the Quran shall come on the Day of Judgement and (the reward for
reciting the Quran) says: ‘O Lord! Decorate him.’ So he is donned with a crown of
nobility. Then it says: ‘O Lord! Give him more!’ So he is donned with a suit of
nobility. Then it says: ‘O Lord! Be pleased with him.’ So He is pleased with
him and says: ‘Recite and rise up, and be increased in reward with every Ayah.’”
(Jami at-Tirmidhi)
The Hadith shared above shows the immense
virtues of learning the Quran. Quran memorization provides a way

The Nine Foremost Benefits of Online Quran Learning
Online
Quran learning is
a highly convenient method for obtaining Quranic knowledge. It is an excellent
way of learning the Quran for beginners, and online Quran
classes are particularly beneficial for kids. Before
analyzing the various advantages of learn Quran online, it’s
pertinent to first assess the importance of Quranic knowledge.
Importance
of learning Quran
The
Holy Quran is Allah’s Word, and the final revelation, which addresses mankind
in its entirety. Within it is all the fundamental information that forms the
basis of our religion. The Quran contains Islamic principles regarding the
correct belief in Allah, and the acts of worship and obedience we owe Him. It
also teaches us how to conduct ourselves in this worldly life and how to treat
our fellow human beings.
Gaining
Quranic education is required of both males and females. It is essential
to learn Quran with Tajweed, for this is the only correct way of
recitation. Proper Tajweed prevents mispronunciation of words, which can change
meanings in an undesirable manner.
Parents
make their utmost effort to ensure their children are well-fed, clothed, and
educated in the worldly sense. Nonetheless, no material comforts they provide
can match the virtues of a sound Islamic education, of which the Quran is an
integral part.
Quran
is the ultimate source of guidance, and the Ummah (Muslim community) is in dire
need of adherence to Islamic principles. Children who are taught to study and
act upon the Quran and brought up with Islamic values are far more likely to
respect and honor their parents at all times. Therefore, we must
prioritize Quran learning for kids, be it online or through
traditional teaching methods.
Quranic
knowledge is superior to any worldly knowledge due to its pure, divine origin.
Its recitation avails us tremendously, as each letter we recite of it earns us
ten good deeds! It intercedes for those who don’t neglect it on the Day of
Judgment while elevating one’s status in this life.
Relevant
passages from Quran and Hadith
We
are all supposed to act according to Quranic teachings throughout our lives,
for Islam is a comprehensive way of life. There are numerous Quranic verses and
Prophetic Hadiths that highlight the necessity of gaining Quranic knowledge for
believers.
“And
We have certainly made the Qur’an easy for remembrance, so is there any who
will remember?” (Quran, 54:17).
“The
Best amongst you is (he) who learns and teaches the Holy Quran” (Sahih
Al-Bukhari).
“…I
am leaving among you two weighty things: the one being the Book of Allah in
which there is right guidance and light, so hold fast to the Book of Allah and
adhere to it.” (Sahih Muslim).
Competent
tutors are readily available
Highly
qualified online Quran tutors can be found with ease. One may not
have easy access to regular tutors of good quality, particularly in the West.
However, online Quran teaching websites can provide
thoroughly accomplished teachers capable of teaching anyone regardless of
distance.
Proficient
teachers can maximize children’s learning potential through a gentle approach.
Children who learn Quran online in the USA, for
example, can be tutored by tutors fluent in English. This nullifies the
drawback of a language barrier.
Students
can learn how to recite the Quran with correct Tajweed, memorize it, and learn
Arabic, as well as being taught the basics of Islam. Both male and female
online teachers are available. A class can be tailored to suit each child’s
preferences due to the versatile nature of an online Quran learning
course. As a result, the comfort of students is assured.
Flexibility
One
of the most beneficial aspects of online Quran learning is flexibility.
This prevents the hassle of having to make any unwanted changes in one’s
schedule. Flexible timings ensure that kids don’t have to make any compromises
in their daily activities.
They
can attend school as well as their online Quran classes, without any
inconvenience to them or their parents. The online Quran tutor can
start the class whenever the child is ready. This is a perfect situation for
students, particularly those in the West, as any time zone-related conflicts
are negated.
Safety
Sadly,
at times we come across cases of misguided Quran teachers mistreating their
students by beating or abusing them. Parents no longer need to worry about
their children, since online Quran classes for kids are the
perfect solution! Children don’t have to attend lessons physically, and
teaching is only conducted over video.
As
there is only distance-learning online, children are perfectly safe, by virtue
of this method. Moreover, online Quran lessons can be closely monitored, just
to keep parents’ hearts at peace.
Online
Quran learning is more convenient
There
is no travel required, either on the student or the teacher’s part. Time does
not have to be spent on taking kids to a tutor, or a mosque for studying the
Quran, nor does a tutor have to travel to teach a student. This saves time and
effort, making online learning a desirable option.
Children
can also feel more comfortable and relaxed in their own homes, enabling them to
give their undivided attention. This is the ideal environment for kids to put
in their best efforts as they study the Noble Quran.
Children
can have one-on-one lessons
Studying
individually can be a superior option for kids, rather than studying alongside
others. This can help to enhance a child’s focus, as some children may be shy
or find studying together distracting. Individual lessons over the internet can
thus be more fruitful, as the child’s productivity is boosted.
Reasonable
pricing
It
can be quite costly to procure the services of a capable Quran tutor,
especially in the West. Online Quran academy teachers, on the other hand,
charge affordable fees. Online Quran lessons offer a suitable alternative to
expensive tutors in the West.
International
availability
There
are no constraints concerning location. Whatever part of the world one is in,
an online Quran tutor is available. All that is needed is an
internet connection and a device that can be used for the class.
This
is a real blessing for someone in the West who doesn’t have easy access to a
teacher, or perhaps can’t find any skilled home tutor. Online Quran
learning is a terrific option for adults concerned
about their children’s religious knowledge. Consequently, parents in non-Muslim
nations can still bring children up in an Islamic manner, with a quality
Islamic education.
Enjoyable
teaching methods
Due
to the vast array of facilities offered by technology, online Quran lessons can
be an exciting activity for young children. The scope for making lessons entertaining
and fun is much higher. Teachers derive captivating ways to learn Quran
online for kids.
They
can utilize a variety of teaching methods to increase the child’s interest and
enthusiasm regarding Quran learning. This can include the usage of informative
videos, quizzes, games, etc. These unique modes of learning can help the
students to maintain focus on their studies and approach lessons positively.

Quran learning is a consistent process
Disciplined
schedules are implemented in online learning. Whereas timings are flexible,

their kids, not progressing. Online teachers are highly efficient and know how
to get the best out of their students.
How
online Quran learning is conducted
The
requirements are relatively simple. You need a computer or smart device, a
reliable internet connection, and a headset. In addition, you need to have
Skype installed on the device you will use.

Benefits of Fajr Prayer in View of the Quran and Hadith
Aisha (r.a)
reported in a Hadith recorded in Sahih Muslim that the Prophet (PBUH) stated
that the two Rakats before Fajr (i.e., the two Sunnah Rakats) are “better than
this world and all it contains.” This Hadith bears a compelling statement
regarding the importance of Fajr. Countless Muslims miss this prayer daily and
don’t know about its benefits.
Praying the
five daily prayers is one of the obligatory five pillars of Islam. Fajr is the
dawn (morning) prayer and thus usually the first prayer of the day for most
people. Offering the dawn prayer has several physical and spiritual benefits.
The importance of Fajr can be gleaned from the fact that Allah named the 89th
Surah of the Quran after it.
The Prophet
(PBUH) said in a Hadith recorded in al-Bukhari that the angels of night
and day were assembled at the time of the morning prayer. This was in reference
to the Quran verse in Surah al-Isra, verse 78: “…Indeed, the recitation of dawn
is ever witnessed.”
In another
Hadith recorded in Sahih Muslim, ‘Umara b. Ruwaiba is reported to have said
that the Prophet (PBUH) stated that whoever performs the Fajr and Maghrib
prayers would not enter the hell-fire. In Sahih al-Bukhari, a Hadith also
states that whoever prays the Asr and Fajr prayers will be granted paradise.
There is
another powerful Sahih Hadith in Sunan ibn Majah regarding the morning prayer.
The Prophet (PBUH) said that whoever offers it will be under the
protection of Almighty Allah. A similar narration is also transmitted in Sahih
Muslim.
Another
rather subtle benefit of the morning prayer is that it promotes a healthy
lifestyle. The night is made for sleep, and several scientific studies show
that people who work night-shifts suffer from declining health. The Islamic way
of life promotes sleeping at night after Isha and waking up at Fajr time. This
allows bodily functions to be normalized and helps us to fight against our
inherent characteristics of lethargy and laziness. In a Hadith collected by Ibn
Majah, the Prophet (PBUH) supplicated, “O Allah, bless my nation in their early
mornings.”
Last but not
least, it's worth mentioning the Hadith about the two Sunnah of Fajr once
again. In this authentic Hadith (collated in multiple Hadith collections), it
is narrated that the two Sunnah Rakats preceding the dawn prayer are
better than this world and everything in it. What, then, about the two
obligatory Rakats?
What
is the time for the Fajr prayer?
Allah says
in the Quran in Surah al-Isra, verse 78: “Establish prayer at the decline of
the sun [from its meridian] until the darkness of the night and [also] the Qur’an
of dawn…” Fajr is, therefore, the prayer to be prayed in the morning and is
called the Dawn prayer.
The
Messenger of Allah (PBUH) stated in a Hadith recorded in Sahih Muslim that the
time for morning prayer is from the appearance of dawn and lasts until sunrise.
If you are unsure about the Fajr prayer time today, several websites document
timings for various locations. The schedules typically vary during the year. In
the summer months, the time for morning prayer is generally earlier as the days
are longer. Whereas, winter months see dawn prayer happening at a later hour.
How
to perform Fajr Salah
The call to
prayer (Adhan) for the morning prayer is different to the Adhan for the other
daily prayers. This is due to the verse added in between, which is “as-salatu
khairun minan-nawm,” meaning prayer is better than sleep.
Fajr prayer
is the shortest of the five daily prayers. In contrast to the other prayers
that consist of three or four obligatory rakats, dawn prayer consists of just
two obligatory rakats. However, it is accompanied by two Sunnah Rakats (alluded
to earlier). According to a Hadith narrated by Aisha (r.a.) and recorded by
al-Bukhari and Muslim, the two Sunnah Rakats of Fajr were the Rakats that the
Prophet (PBUH) adhered to the most, after the obligatory Rakats for the five
daily prayers.
The two
Sunnah Rakats must be performed before the two obligatory (fard) ones.
According to a Hadith in Sahih Muslim, it is virtuous to recite Surah al-Kafirun
and Surah al-Ikhlaas during this prayer. These two rakats must be followed by
the two obligatory rakats, following which a believer can offer various
supplications.
Some pray in
congregation and arrive too late to offer the highly praised two Sunnah rakats.
For them is a Hadith recorded by Imam Tirmidhi and Abu Dawood. In this Hadith,
a man appeared to perform two Rakats after praying the obligatory ones in
congregation. The Prophet (PBUH) asked him why he had done so and the man
replied that he missed the two Sunnah Rakats. The Messenger (PBUH) then
remained quiet, meaning that the action was permissible.
Fajr
prayer dua/supplication and dhikr
Due to the
importance of Fajr, acts such as asking for forgiveness, etc. are virtuous to
do during this period. Allah says in Surah ar-Rum, verse 17: “So exalted is
Allah when you reach the evening, and when you reach the morning.” Thus, there
are a few forms of dhikr that are specified for morning prayer, alongside
Maghrib prayer.
“La ilaha
ill-Allah wahdahu la shareeka lah, lahu’l-mulk wa lahu’l-hamd yuhyi wa yumeet
wa huwa ‘ala kulli shay’ in qadeer. There's no God but Allah alone, with no
partner or associate, His is the Dominion and to Him be praise, He gives life
and gives death, and He has power over all things.” This is one of the
recommended acts of adhkaar, meant to be repeated ten times.
Another
recommended Sunnah is to recite Surah Ikhlaas, Surah Falaq, and Surah Nas,
three times apiece. This is specific to dawn prayer and Maghrib. After other
prayers, it’s recommended to recite these once each.
As you can
see, respected brothers and sisters, praying Fajr is one of the most
praiseworthy of deeds. If you’re a new or young Muslim, learn Quran and how to
perform Salah to avail of these blessings. If you’re one of the many Muslims
who struggle to wake up for the morning prayer, make the required changes in
your lifestyle.
Sleep early,
set multiple alarms, and go to sleep with the mindset of wanting to wake up for
dawn prayer. Ask Allah to help you in this quest, so that you can gain all the
benefits of praying Fajr. Have the intention of pleasing Allah while knowing
that it will only be to your advantage should you succeed. May the task be made
easy for us all. Aameen.

How to Make your Kids Learn Quran Happily?
Learning Quran, practicing on the injunctions
of the Quran, and teach Quran to the kids are the responsibilities of the
Muslims associated with the Quran. Teaching something to the grown-up people is
not as difficult as it is to children. We need to instill in the heart of the
kid the interest in the thing we are going to teach. The same goes for the
Quran learning for kids. The kids learn Quran when they find it interesting.
They will also memorize Quran if interest and love for Quran could be instilled
in them. In this regards, the experts have devised a number of tips for to make
learning Quran for kids interesting so that the Quran teaching for kids will be
easy and the kids will learn happily. Some of these tips are being elaborated
below.
Make Dua
Dua is the strongest weapon of Muslims. As
Muslims we believe that nothing is possible without Taufiq and
help from Allah Almighty and nothing is impossible with the help of Him.
Therefore, first of all we need to ask Allah Almighty to give taufiq that
our kids learn Quran happily and then practice upon the injunctions given in
the Quran. We should rest assured that if our Dua is accepted by Allah Almighty
rest of the tips will be easy and the dream of Quran teaching to our kids will
come true.
Have
kids listen to Quran
People in general and kids, in particular,
learn anything when they listen to that. Thus, it is a great tip to make your
kids listen to Quran so that they will learn it. The Audio Quran recordings in
the voice of the renowned Qurra of the Quran are available
online. You can download them and make your kids listen to that recitation of
Quran from www.quranforkids.com. By this, the kids will not only memorize Quran, but they will learn the
accurate and correct recitation of the Quran as well.
Explain the Meanings of the verses of Quran
The next tip is to explain the meanings of
the words from the Quran so that the kids will know the message of Quran. There
are two things to keep in mind in this regard. First of all, don’t tell too
much detail about the verses of Quran. Instead, provide small and brief
information in a light way. Secondly, keep the age of the kids in mind. The
technical details of Quran should not be given to small kids because that is
above their mental level. They will not have any interest in purely legal
matters explained in the Quran. Instead, the kids will be more interested in
the stories that are mentioned in the Holy Quran.
Share beautiful Stories of Quran
Another
tip is to share the interesting and beautiful stories that are mentioned in the
Holy Quran. For instance, share them the story of the bird hudhud that
worked for the search of water for the armies of Hazrat Sulaiman peace be upon
him or the story of ants and the army of Hazrat Sulayman peace be upon him. The
story of Hazrat Yusuf peace be upon him, and the story of Hazrat Yunus peace be
upon him, and the fish will also be of great interest. And there are many other
stories of great interest in the Holy Quran.
Play game
Another
tip to make Quran learning an interesting activity is to set a game and family
activity based on the Quran. For instance, divide the family into two different
teams and make a competition of searching certain facts of Quran or certain
words from a particular chapter of the Quran. In this regard, the competition
of drawing and calligraphy of the Quran can also be a fun and learning
activity.
